Questions people actually ask

Will this get my LinkedIn account banned or restricted?

The extension paces every action with randomized delays and short breaks to mimic natural browsing, and it always shows a confirmation step before deleting anything. That said, automating any part of a platform you don't control always carries some inherent risk, so use it deliberately rather than running it constantly, and stop if LinkedIn ever shows a security check.

Does the extension store or see my LinkedIn posts?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser. Post, reaction, and comment content is never read into any server. Deletions go directly from your browser to LinkedIn, using your own logged-in session.

What data does the extension actually collect?

Just a local usage counter (how many deletions you've used on the free tier) and, if you buy Pro, your license key, synced through your own Chrome account, not through a server we run. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Deletions on LinkedIn are permanent, which is exactly why the extension always asks you to confirm first. Take a moment to read that dialog before continuing.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes 10 post deletions, 20 reaction removals, and 10 comment deletions total. Pro removes those caps entirely and adds high-speed processing, priority anti-ban pacing, and the keyword filter. See Pricing for the full comparison.

How do I activate my Pro license after purchase?

Open the extension popup, find "Already Purchased?", and paste the license key from your confirmation email, then click Verify License. It locks to that browser instantly.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. Checkout is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

Can I get a refund?

Effective July 10, 2026

This policy explains what LinkedIn Deleter & Unliker Pro (“the extension,” “we”) does and does not do with your data. We wrote it to match exactly what the code does, not boilerplate.

What we collect

The extension stores a small amount of data locally, using Chrome's own storage APIs:

  • Usage counters: how many posts, reactions, and comments you've deleted on the free tier, so we can enforce the free-tier limits. Stored via chrome.storage.sync, which syncs across your own Chrome sign-in and never reaches a server we operate.
  • License key and device ID (Pro users only): stored locally and sent only to Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider, to verify your purchase. We do not run a backend server and never see this data ourselves.
  • Theme preference: whether you last used light or dark mode, stored locally in your browser.

What we don't collect

  • We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your LinkedIn posts, comments, or reactions to any server.
  • We do not collect your LinkedIn login credentials. The extension acts through your already-logged-in browser session, the same way you would manually.
  • We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising of any kind.
  • We never see or store your payment or card details. That's handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy.

How the extension works

LinkedIn Deleter & Unliker Pro runs entirely inside your browser. When you start a run, it reads the page you're already viewing on linkedin.com and sends the same delete/unlike requests your browser would send if you clicked through manually. There is no server in between relaying or logging that activity.

Your choices

Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data immediately. You can also clear it at any time from Chrome's extension settings without uninstalling.

Children's privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the extension after a change means you accept the update.
